	Claudine Nange	Female	1997	Claudine Nange saw the light of day in 1997. Just after 9 months the mother died. It was in 2011 that she lost the father. He had only been ill for 2 weeks and passed away. Before then Claudine was already in form 2 at Acha Government college. There had been no way for her, so she had to drop off from school. She needs someone to help her pursue her education. An intelligent girl like her may end up being nothing worthwhile. Her favourite subject is Chemistry and she desires to be a teacher some day.
	Laura	Female	12	Jam Laura lives at Sho Village Kom.Having lost both parents she finds it difficult to continue with her education as no one comes to help. Her dreams are to become a teacher one day. She has other 3 brothers and sisters and each of them is trying to fend for he or herself. She was born on the 12th of April 2000.
	Velma	Female	14	Velma comes from a large family. Her mother is a sole parent and provides as best she can for her children with her subsistence potato crop. Velma likes to sing and play with her friends and hopes to be able to continue her schooling.

He is form 2 at GTC Sho supported by the mother who sometimes sell her crops only for that pirpose. He has no textbooks and faces difficulties in paying school fees. He is dreaming to become a teacher one day. His hobby is cycling and his best game is football.

	Erica Nambu	Female	10	Erica lost the father and life has been difficult with her as the mother does only subsistent farming and with poor health from time to time. Her aspiration is to a teacher in future. She loves singing and dancing. She has no one to take care and provide her educational needs.
	Etienne	Male	13	Etienne loves football and going tadpoling in the dry season. His mother is a widow, who struggles to feed her children. School fees are the first thing to be sacrificed when money for food is tight.

	Nelisse	Male	10	Nelisse lives with his mother and 2 sisters. His mother can barely manage to pay his school attendance fees. He has no equipment, which makes studying hard. Nelisse is a social little boy who enjoys visiting friends after school and is diligent in helping his mother with household chores.

The mother's sister is looking sickly all of the time and has no job to help this girl. It is like she will drop out of school should somebody not come in to help. She has 4 siblings who are also fending for themselves. Her best subject is English Language. Her hobbies are singing and reading.
	Mispa	Female	11	Mispa lost the father in 2011. The father had been ill for long. The illness drained the family finances. She is unable to continue with her education. Her aspirations of becoming a teacher some day are bleak. Her favourite subject is English Literature. She enjoys reading and story telling.
	Melvine	Male	11	Melvine loves reading and playing football. He lives with his mother and brothers. His mother is a widow and supports her children with subsistence farming. This is not enough to support him through school.

	Gladys	Female	13	Gladys is a smart and thoughtful girl. She likes to read in her spare time. Gladys lives with her disabled mother. Her father died some time ago. Gladys wants to be a teacher when she is older.
