	Zelma	Female	8	Zelma loves singing and playing with her friends. Her mother sadly died, and her father is disabled and unable to work.
	Velma	Female	14	Velma comes from a large family. Her mother is a sole parent and provides as best she can for her children with her subsistence potato crop. Velma likes to sing and play with her friends and hopes to be able to continue her schooling.
	Conscience	Female	12	Conscience loves reading and longs to be a teacher when she grows up. She enjoys learning english with the hope that she can finish her education and go on to improve the life of her family.
	Rene	Male	16	Rene has commited himself to study and finished his exams. His dream now is to go on to college, but his mother who is a single parent cannot afford his tuition fees. Rene enjoys football and hunting, and wants to study to become a teacher.
	Ianic	Male	10	In the dry season, Ianic goes catching tadpoles at the main stream in Belo. He loves football. Ianic goes to shool when his mother can afford to send him.
	Providence	Female	14	Providence is a happy, cheery and independant girl,. Since she became an orphan in 2009, she has become a committed and serious student, organising her education as best she can , with the help of her Aunt. Providence cannot afford any text books, and constant worrying about paying her school fees eats away at her happy spirit.
	Etienne	Male	13	Etienne loves football and going tadpoling in the dry season. His mother is a widow, who struggles to feed her children. School fees are the first thing to be sacrificed when money for food is tight.

	Romanus	Male	10	Romanus was orphaned in 2007. He and his siblings live wih their disabled Uncle and their Aunt, who subsistence farms to support everyone. Romanus likes reading and playing football, but his future is unsure. Without a sponsor, schooling is impossible, and his hope for the future is diminished.
	Nelisse	Male	10	Nelisse lives with his mother and 2 sisters. His mother can barely manage to pay his school attendance fees. He has no equipment, which makes studying hard. Nelisse is a social little boy who enjoys visiting friends after school and is diligent in helping his mother with household chores.
	Hanniel	Male	12	Hanniel has had a sponsor up until a few months ago. Therefore it would be wonderful for him to find another sponsor, to help him continue to thrive.
	Linda	Female	14	Linda loves learning, especially english. She is one of 9 children, and her mother is a widow. Linda loves caring for the younger children in the house, and is agood help to her mother. But Linda needs to go to school if she is to have a chance at a better future for herself.

	Quincy	Female	8	Quincy loves reading and visiting her friends. Her mother is a widow, and does the best she can to support her. Quincy needs an education to give her hope for the future.
