Sponsor GMM Events

Every year GMM organizes a number of events. You can choose an event which you would like to sponsor. You would also be very welcome to attend the event.

Here is a list of GMM events, planned for this year:

Football and handball Tournament: Often the best way to inculcate the concepts of working together as a team, oneness and helping each other, sports have a great potential to penetrate through differences and open avenues for peaceful living. Through such competitions we hope to bring communities together to work for their own development and inspire them with a sense of oneness.

Also, such events when people come together in big numbers,  are the best times to spread awareness. So we will make the most of this opportunity to spread the message and work of Goodness and Mercy Missions as well as raise awareness on HIV/AIDS.

General Knowledge Test Events:  Special evenings will be dedicated for these events, which will test the knowledge of children on a range of topics from history, geography to sciences. And the winners will get exciting prizes!  

Drawing the children and youth to reading, learning to find out more about things, linking things together and thinking logically, these events will go a long way and help these children to develop as individuals  capable of bring about a change for themselves and to the society.

Christmas Parties and other fun events: These fun filled events and parties, with meals and presents; will be a great attraction for the children. They will not only bring together all the children we sponsor but will be excellent opportunities for us to thank all our supporters: our international volunteers and key community figures. They will be invited to participate in the fun, learn more about our work, see it in reality and interact with the children to find out how they feel about our work.

Fundraise for GMM

GMM works through a number of projects in Cameroon, which are funded by local fund raising and donations from friends. Our projects have made a difference in the lives of 277 people. But yet there are 421 more people whom we want to reach out to. You can strengthen our hands by help us to find donors for our proposals or activities.




Volunteer with Goodness and Mercy Missions

Volunteer online:

At GMM we are always looking for 'virtual volunteers' from around the world to help us via online communication. Much of this website was put together with the help of virtual volunteers.

Virtual volunteer tasks can include anything from researching outlets to promote our website, to assisting and contributing ideas to new projects.

You can volunteer with Goodness and Mercy Missions, no matter your sex, age, or skills.  You can just be the help someone needs in the community. Your interaction with rural people will be a wonderful blessing. Living among a people will help you identify their basic needs and possible ways of tackling them.

We accept volunteers from all nationalities. Coming to know each other will help us tap resources from our different backgrounds for good. Goodness and Mercy Missions allow volunteers ample opportunities in the development of their own skills.
Although Goodness and Mercy Missions cannot pay the salaries of international volunteers, we make all the necessary arrangements for the safe stay of the volunteer all the while in Cameroon. We provide necessary information and support.

GMM Volunteer Positions:
  • Teach at the Baptist college in Acha, Belo. GMM partners with  ABCD Cameroon and helps in most  of her institutions. Other colleges are requesting GMM to place volunteer teachers in them.
  • Teach at the GMM Elementary school Jinkfuin. GMM has founded an elementary school Jinkfuin for needy and orphan children. This is to provide them a sound nursery and primary education.
  • Vocational Training for Young boys and girls. Training in IT skills.
  • Work with several GMM Women Groups towards a sustainable livelihood for women.
  • Youth Mentorship and community health Education.
  • Administration and office work
  • Work with people with Albinism
